Leadership and Mission

Morehouse is led by President David A. Thomas, the Board of Trustees, Senior Faculty and Administrative Leaders all dedicated to serving the mission of the College.

Leadership and Mission

OUR MISSION

The mission of 91ｳﾔｹﾏｱｬﾁﾏ is to develop men with disciplined minds who will lead lives of leadership and service. A private historically black liberal arts college for men, Morehouse realizes this mission by emphasizing the intellectual and character development of its students. In addition, the HBCU college assumes special responsibility for teaching the history and culture of black people.

GOVERNING BODY

The Board of Trustees serves as the governing body of Morehouse that primarily makes policy and ensures the College has the resources needed to educate men according to its mission.
