The Maurice Washington Emerging Leaders Program (MWELP) is a two-semester program designed for first-year, second-year, and transfer students to develop effective leadership, career readiness, financial literacy, and mental health coping skills. This program focuses on preparing students to succeed and contribute to the 91³Ô¹Ï±¬ÁÏ community as student leaders by creating a foundational framework in their first two years at the college.

This year-long program aims to engage students in college orientation and identify pathways to leadership while allowing students to develop comprehensive career development plans.
